Blacksmithing: 3 Piece BBQ Tool Set

Join us to create a custom decorative 3 piece BBQ tool set. This class is designed for beginning to intermediate smiths. The class focuses on the skills of basic forging techniques such as hammering, drawing out, upsetting, punch and rivet, chiseling and twisting the metal. Upon course completion you will take home a 3 piece BBQ set consisting of a 15 inch meat hook, spatula and fork.
Students are exposed to hot steel emitting sparks while hammered. Please wear protective clothing to cover your arms and legs. Closed-toed shoes are required. Gloves and safety glasses are provided
- Students ages 14-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian also enrolled in the class. No Person under the age of 14 permitted on the premise during classes
- There is a maximum of 6 people per class. Class will only be held if there are 2 or more attendants, we will move tickets to a future class date if attendance requirement is not met.
