Blacksmithing: Charcuterie set

$184.33Join us to create an original Charcutier Set with custom handles in our new 5 hour class; from a blank piece of 1/4 inch steel and 1/4″ square steel. Class begins by drawing out the block to create a twisted handle. Students will continue to draw the blank into the shape of the blade, and finish by grinding and hardening the knife for the charcuterie. Students will forge and twist handles for the 12″x 8″ Acadia Wood cutting board to attach for a decorative charcuterie board and knife set perfect for holiday parties, gift giving and even hostess gifts.
Students are exposed to hot steel emitting sparks while hammering. Please wear protective clothing to cover your arms and legs. Closed-toe shoes are required. Safety glasses are provided.
Students aged 14-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian also enrolled in the class.
- No Person under the age of 14 is allowed on the premise during class times.
- There is a maximum of 6 people per class. Class will only be held if there are 2 or more attendants, we will move tickets to a future class date if attendance requirement is not met.
