Blacksmithing: Christmas Trinket workshop

In this class, you will create a personalized Christmas Ornaments/Trinkets, time permitting you will leave with 2-3! Start by forging one end of a rod into the chosen design and progress by hammering, turning and twisting the metal in the traditional blacksmith medium. Beginners are welcome; no previous blacksmithing experience is required. No prerequisite is required, beginners are welcomed!
Students are exposed to hot steel emitting sparks while hammering. Please wear protective clothing to cover your arms and legs. Closed-toe shoes are required. Gloves and safety glasses are provided.
- Students ages 14-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also enrolled in the class.
- There is a maximum class size of 6. Class will only be held if there are 2 or more attendants, we will move tickets to a future class date if attendance requirement is not met.
