Copper Chasing: Picture Frame – 2 weeks

This is a two-part class, the first class will meet on February 17th, and the second will be held on February 24th. Both will be held at the same location, Mueller Industries, and will be from 5 pm- 8:00pm.
Copper chasing is one of the oldest metal smithing occupations, producing useful items such as tools, kitchenware, tableware, jewelry, and more for centuries. Shaping metal with a hammer is the fundamental element of this class, Students learn to cold-hammer copper and apply the technique of copper chasing to create images in copper plates.
**There is a maximum class size of 4 people. Class will only be held if there are 2 or more attendants, we will move tickets to a future class date if attendance requirement is not met.
