
Copper Chasing: Picture Frame – 2 weeks

This is a two-part class, the first class will meet on May 6th , and the second will be held on May 13, 2025. Both will be held at the same location, Mueller Industries, and will be from 5 pm- 7:30pm.
Copper chasing is one of the oldest metal smithing occupations, producing useful items such as tools, kitchenware, tableware, jewelry, and more for centuries. Shaping metal with a hammer is the fundamental element of this class, Students learn to cold-hammer copper and apply the technique of copper chasing to create images in copper plates.
**There is a maximum class size of 4 people. Class will only be held if there are 2 or more attendants, we will move tickets to a future class date if attendance requirement is not met.
