DESCRIPTION:Join us in creating your own custom knife crafted from a four-inch block of steel! Yes\, you begin with the block of steel and leave with your own handmade knife! \n\n\n\nYou will choose the style of twist for the handle and apply techniques to create individual look and style.  Then\, continue your project by learning how to forge the blade to shape and finish by grinding and hardening your personalized knife. \n\n\n\nBeginners are welcome\, no previous blacksmithing experience is required! \n\n\n\nWant to make it more personalized? For an additional $25.00 we provide custom made 100% leather sleeves for your knife\, Cash or check Required for payment of the leather sheath. \n\n\n\nStudents are exposed to hot steel emitting sparks while hammered.  Please wear protective clothing to cover your arms and legs.  Closed-toed shoes are required.  Gloves and safety glasses are provided \n\n\n\n\nStudents ages 14-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian also enrolled in the class.\n\n\n\nThere is a maximum of 6 people per class.  Class will only be held if there are 2 or more attendants\, we will move tickets to a future class date if attendance requirement is not met.\n\n\n\n\nInstructional Fees $175.00Material & Supplies $17.00 \n\n\n\nTotal Price including sales tax  $193.53 \n\n\n\nInstructor Recommendation for next course to try: SPIKE KNIFE or Tomahawk
